Our Story

Welcome to the Little Rock Repair Shop, Arkansas’s premiere destination for historic restoration. We specialize in everything from traditional crafts—like hand caning, wood carving, and metalwork—to restoring buildings and homes on the National Historic Register. We are the region’s only shop offering hand-woven caning, rush, and wicker repair.

We also offer expert restoration services for antique furniture, chandeliers, plaster, painting, wall finishes, and more. Our restorationists excel in historic, traditional, and contemporary techniques, ensuring top-notch quality for projects of any size. Our expertise extends to interiors, exteriors—including door and window restoration—hardware, and antique lighting, encompassing metal polishing, finishing, and fabrication; glass and ceramic repair; as well as traditional, modern, and faux finishes.

Our Projects

Our notable projects include the iconic Quapaw, Hale, and Maurice BathHouses in Hot Springs, the First Presbyterian Church downtown Little Rock, Immanuel Baptist Church downtown and West Little Rock locations, the Villa Marie in Little Rock's Quapaw Quarter, a 19th-century cabin in the Ouachita National Forest, and many private residences across the state. Currently, we're restoring the 100-year-old Over-the-Jumps carousel at the Little Rock Zoo.

Our Process

Research is a cornerstone of our process, helping us preserve original materials and methods. We offer research consultations for individuals, organizations, and community groups to support accurate and respectful restoration.

Managing historic restoration involves navigating local, state, and federal regulations and entities. Our experience includes coordinating large-scale projects with multiple public and private partners. We provide comprehensive project management services to ensure every detail is handled with care.
